Lubbock mother embraces violent world of mixed martial arts fighting

Lights shine bright into the ring.
In practice, her brown hair often fell loose from her ponytail. Tonight, it's pulled into two, tight braids.
Her feet are bare. Her padded boxing gloves are gone, replaced by a thin, fingerless pair.
She thought she'd be nervous. But there are no butterflies in her stomach.
