Andrea Lee MMA

The last time I did a write up on Andrea "KGB" Lee. she was on a nine month suspension after she tested positive for diuretics after a submission loss to Sarah D’Alelio at Invicta FC 16 on March 11th, 2016.
After the suspension, she returmed to Invicta in 2017 and got a knockout victory over Jenny Liou.
The month after that, she defeated Heather Bassett to become the inaugural LFA women's flyweight champion.
She followed that up with a decision win over Liz Tracy in Invicta and then a successful LFA title defense over Jamie Thorton in her fourth fight of the year.
Andrea stayed busy.
Two weeks after that fight, she signed with the UFC and was planning to make her debut just two weeks after her last fight.
She was set to face Kalindra Faria at UFC 216 but just a few hours after the bout announcement she was pulled from the card due to a clause in the UFC Anti Doping Policy.
In the UFC, fighters with prior violations have to serve a 6 month period in the testing pool before they can compete.

Now Andrea's debut has been rescheduled for UFC Fight Night 129 in Chile on May 19, 2018.
There she will face Verónica Macedo.

Andrea's MMA record is 8-2-0.
